Same game parlays are the fastest-growing bet type in Ohio—and every sportsbook wants a piece of the action. But they're not all created equal. Some have better pricing, some have more leg options, and some have builder interfaces that make you want to throw your phone.
We tested SGP builders across all major Ohio sportsbooks using identical four-leg parlays on NFL, NBA, and MLB games. Here's who won.

FanDuel: The Complete Package
FanDuel wins because it does everything well. The SGP builder is intuitive, the pricing is consistently the best or near-best, and the prop selection covers what most bettors want without overwhelming with obscure options.
✅ Strengths
- Best-in-class pricing on most SGPs
- Clean, fast builder interface
- Up to 12 legs per SGP
- Excellent cash-out availability
- "Quick Pick" suggestions
❌ Weaknesses
- Fewer obscure prop options than DK
- No SGP insurance promo (currently)
- Limited alt line flexibility
DraftKings: The Power User's Choice
DraftKings is for the bettor who wants maximum options. Their SGP builder has more props, more alt lines, and more ways to construct creative parlays. The trade-off is slightly worse pricing and a busier interface.
✅ Strengths
- Deepest prop selection available
- More alt spread/total options
- Best SGP promos (insurance, boosts)
- "SGP+" for cross-game combinations
- Strong live SGP options
❌ Weaknesses
- Pricing 5-10% worse than FanDuel
- Interface can feel cluttered
- More prone to "combination not available"
BetMGM: The Sleeper
BetMGM's "Easy Parlay" feature is underrated. It suggests popular SGP combinations based on what other bettors are playing. For casual bettors who want inspiration, it's genuinely useful. Pricing is middle-of-the-pack.
✅ Strengths
- "Easy Parlay" suggestions are solid
- Good NBA prop coverage
- Clean builder interface
- One-game parlay insurance available
❌ Weaknesses
- Pricing lags FanDuel and DraftKings
- Fewer leg options for MLB
- Cash out not always available
The Rest of the Field
Caesars (Score: 7.2)
Caesars' SGP builder works but feels dated. The prop selection is adequate, but pricing is consistently the worst among major books. Unless you're chasing their rewards program, there's little reason to build SGPs here.
Fanatics (Score: 7.5)
Fanatics is still building out their SGP product. The basics are covered and pricing is decent, but they lack the depth and polish of FanDuel or DraftKings. Worth checking if you're already earning FanCash.
bet365 (Score: 7.8)
bet365 calls them "Bet Builders" and offers a solid experience, particularly for soccer. For American sports, their prop depth lags the leaders. Good as a secondary option.
Remember: SGPs carry significantly higher hold than straight bets. That exciting +800 payout? The true odds might be closer to +1100. Use SGPs for entertainment, not as your primary betting strategy.
Pricing Test: Same SGP, Different Books
We built an identical four-leg NFL SGP across all books:
- Team A -3.5
- Over 45.5 total
- QB over 249.5 passing yards
- RB anytime TD scorer
| Sportsbook | SGP Odds | $100 Payout |
|---|---|---|
| FanDuel | +485 | $585 |
| DraftKings | +445 | $545 |
| BetMGM | +420 | $520 |
| Fanatics | +430 | $530 |
| Caesars | +380 | $480 |
The difference between FanDuel (+485) and Caesars (+380) is $105 on the same $100 bet. That's a 22% swing in potential profit—just from choosing the right app.
The Verdict
For most Ohio bettors: Use FanDuel for SGPs. Best pricing, best interface, plenty of options.
For power users: DraftKings offers more customization and better promos, worth the slight pricing hit if you want maximum flexibility.
For casual bettors: BetMGM's "Easy Parlay" feature is a good starting point if you want suggestions rather than building from scratch.
For everyone: Check multiple apps before placing any SGP. That 10-20% pricing difference adds up fast.
Build your SGP on DraftKings (best selection), then check FanDuel for pricing. Often FanDuel will offer better odds on the same combination. Takes 30 seconds, saves real money.
